The boy is still here

He is.  And there are SO many pictures on my computer to prove it.

We have been busy, we have been having fun, we have been going nuts, we have been getting sick (like pukes kind of sick), we have finished (yet still practicing!!) baseball, we have started basketball, we are LOVING school, we have been disciplining, we have been loving, we have been cuddling, and we have been HERE.

The mother, on the other hand, has been a bit distracted.

But here is Jack.

The big, great, reading, writing, adding, subtracting, arting, you name it Kindergartner.

And he totally wants to go.

Which is beautiful!

We get Friday Folders packed with stuff he did in class, we get art projects home, there are activities he does in the library, homework packs, homework games, 'tests', and though at first it was quite overwhelming, we are in a rhythm and routine now and it works.  A brand new pencil sharpener helps, too.  The one we had worked, but the new red one with the razer on the top really does the trick!

By the way, my Jack writes and draws ALL the time now!  So sweet.

The picture above shows the boy in a button down shirt.  He calls them boring.  He tells his mother he doesn't want to wear them anymore.  Please do note, he is still wearing them!

He is still here, we are still capturing every bit we can.  I look forward to sharing everything...slowly but surely!
